Hello, I saw a similar issue while installing my new Ryzen system. The 8-pin CPU cable isn’t matching the slot on my X570 Aorus Pro motherboard because the physical layout differs—specifically, one side of the cable lacks a square pin. It seems it should fit on the opposite end, but that side is meant for the PSU. I’m wondering if there’s another way to install it or if I need to adjust the setup. Thanks for your help!

The layout doesn't include a connector labeled "CPU." It appears you can only connect it to the 2x2 ATX_12V1 slot.

There are two options: one port is an 8-pin, the other is a 4+4 pin, allowing separation. The 4+4 side connects to the motherboard, while the fixed 8-pin goes to the power supply unit.

The power supply cable indicates the CPU is connected at the connector.
