It seems this product is no longer in stock, similar to the 5800X3D. Expect higher prices moving forward.

It's the top-selling chip, but production halted around 5800X3D two years ago. I think AMD isn't managing to boost output much, especially after the Intel issues increased demand. Prices are likely going up, though I'm not sure if AMD actually raised them themselves.

5800X3D is fetching more than 500 hundred beaver bucks. Grab it now on eBay. I bought mine for 650 when it was brand new. My 5900X cost 800, and the last time I saw it go up to around 350.

I appreciate the input, but I’m taking my time and observing what happens. The Arrow Lake results seem underwhelming, and I doubt the 9800X3D will offer significant improvements over its cost. Thanks for your thoughts. It’s possible others who delayed upgrades are now opting for the 7800X3D instead. I noticed its price rising shortly after the 9700X was released.

Some gamers are testing whether the 9700x was worth the investment, but they often miss the impact of 3D v-cache in gaming. The 5700x3D or 5800x3D sometimes outperforms the 9700x, especially in framerate consistency and stability. Most prefer a slight reduction in max frame rate if it means smoother gameplay. Few mainstream testers actually play games regularly; instead, you usually find CPU benchmarks for specific titles on forums or from creators who dive deep into performance across different AMD models. In multiplayer scenarios, 3D v-cache can boost frame rates by around half compared to non-3D CPUs, depending on the game.

7600X3D is a solid option, though it isn't widely available. It's exclusive to Microcenter, and they don't offer shipping. Unless you're in a specific situation or can obtain it another way, paying the third-party price might negate the savings.
