I purchased this 7800x3d from Aliexpress due to a favorable offer. My Amazon unit disappeared during shipping. Once I powered it on, it worked immediately and remained active. Even after spending half an hour on tasks, the display stayed red. I updated the BIOS and replaced the GPUs, but no changes occurred. Since I don’t have another AM5 CPU, I’m unsure if the issue lies with the motherboard or the CPU itself. Are there additional troubleshooting steps I should try? Or am I stuck?

You seem to enjoy taking risks, but there are many misleading options available. If you thought it was a solid offer... it might have been.
Verify all power connectors are securely attached. Unplug the PSU and set aside the CMOS battery for five minutes to refresh the BIOS settings. Test one RAM module at a time in its corresponding slot. File a complaint on AliExpress and ask for a refund on the CPU there.
What I observed was similar to what others noticed. It wasn't the SMDs, but rather the empty gold pads. In the genuine 7800X3D images, the "© 2022 AMD" section typically shows the letter "D." The version you shared from the OP lacks that letter. Likely it's a fake.
