My chipset and CPU are locked, and the GPU isn’t running even at its default speed—let alone overclocking. I’ve turned on XMP in BIOS. I have two HDDs and one SSD, which serves as my boot drive.
I used a Z170 motherboard and it worked well even after light overclocking. It might be related to the 12V power supply from the 6-pin connector on the motherboard.
The 6pin connects the CPU while the 24pin identifies the MOBO. It seems the issue might lie with the graphics card or the power supply, not the PSU. I own a GTX 1660 paired with a Ryzen 5 1600AF in a B450 MOBO and a 550w power supply, which is working well. I can even perform some overclocking, suggesting the problem isn't the power supply. Since you mentioned swapping the MOBO as well, that could be the cause too.
