You're starting this PC build for the first time. You've got a Core i914900KF Seasonic 1000W power supply, an ASUS Strix Z790 motherboard, and a Corsair memory stick. When you turn it on, everything appears to work except the GPU logo, which spins around. Plugging in the HDMI cable doesn't show anything, and you can't even access the motherboard BIOS. You've tried using three PCIe cables from the PSU and a modem 4 PCIe cable to the GPU. You checked the video examples for the Founders Edition and saw the logo light up, but yours isn't doing the same. It seems like there might be an issue with the GPU connection or power delivery. Try checking the GPU power connections and ensuring the PSU is providing enough wattage. If problems persist, consider testing a different GPU or consulting the manufacturer's support for further guidance.

Is this your first attempt using this motherboard and this memory? If yes, allow at least 15 minutes and then try again. If nothing happens, restart using the reset button. Memory training on Asus boards seems to be the most problematic, often requiring 10-15 restarts before it works. AMD has made significant improvements in that area recently, though I’ve had issues when I changed my own board and added extra RAM.

yes it is the first boot, and sorry if this is a dumb question but should I see something before it loads? I'm currently using a TV as the monitor so it just shows that there is no display connection. also when you say the reset button do you mean the power button?

When assembling the motherboard with new memory, it undergoes a setup phase. Based on the board type, memory kind, and capacity, this can vary from 3 to 45 minutes. For your specific configuration and system, the average time was about 13-14 minutes. Remember, it's not just the power button—your case should also have a reset switch, typically smaller and near the power button. If you share your case model, I can identify it for you.
