Hey guys, built a new rig a while back for the RTX3090 and after about a month the 3090 died. Not really sure what happened to it. Since then I've been surviving on a 1660 for about 18months and have had no problems. Plugged in the new 4080 today, monitor can't detect a signal, and there is this red light on the graphics card. No Idea what it means. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Check if the power cable is completely secured and properly placed. Which power supply unit are you using? What is the motherboard model?

It looks like it's completely trimmed down. Setting up was simple and not too complicated. The PSU is a Corsair HX850 850W High Performance Power Supply, 80 PLUS Platinum, with a 135mm fan. It's fully modular, and the motherboard is a Gigabyte Z490 AORUS PRO AX ATX.

You could also tidy up the radiator—it's really dirty.

It wouldn't hurt at all, you're right, right?

It's best to begin your support request with Zotac, as they might respond more quickly.

Which kind of cable connects your GPU to your monitor? It’s likely something simple to check, possibly a 40 series if the connections are uncertain.

Tested both Display Port and HDMI, but no signal was received.

I haven’t installed the new card yet. Did you try to reinstall the driver for the 1660? It’s odd that two GPUs stopped working in your setup, even with a solid PSU. Could you share your complete specifications?

Red light indicates insufficient power, unstable voltage, or no detectable component.
