Hello everyone, I'm facing a tricky issue with my ultra-wide monitor. It's developed a problem where half of the screen (the left panel) is flickering, appearing as multicoloured snow. The file I shared should show this clearly. 20250301_184042.mp4 If the video indicates 'No video with supported format and MIME type found', opening it in a Chromium browser might help. I'm trying to figure out if this issue can be resolved. I've ruled out several factors: it's not related to my computer setup (tested with all devices, including various GPUs), the cable works with both DisplayPort and HDMI, and there are multiple input ports available. The monitor appears to start up normally without any connection. I purchased it around 2018-2019 for about $1000 AUD from Kogan, and initially suspected a GPU issue since it would fix itself after reconnecting or restarting. However, no support response has been received despite checking the product details. The device shows up in Device Manager as 'Generic PnP Monitor', but I'm certain that's the case based on the events logged. The exact model is KAMN49F14UHLA, listed under Windows Volume Control. Please let me know if anyone else has encountered this problem or if you've managed to fix it. If not, I might have to dispose of it responsibly.
