Today I’m collecting a Mac Mini from mid-2011 because I need one for a project and I don’t want to go through a hackingtosh. It has 4GB of RAM, and I have some DDR3 memory available. I was wondering if adding that would be feasible, even though I doubt it. I thought you’d better check, but it already comes with a 120GB SSD, which is more than enough for my needs.

Form factor matches DDR3 SODIMM. Common laptop DDR3 slots. Ifix provides instructions as well.

I found something I think you'll appreciate—special Mac memory might be necessary for it.
