The 1809 update caused issues with keyboard input functionality.
In the latest 1809 updates Microsnap deleted the language input menu from the Control Panel, resulting in a malfunctioning menu in the Settings app that doesn’t work properly. I have two languages set up, but now unexpected keyboard shortcuts appear without my input. The Settings app is broken and incorrectly indicates no languages are installed. Is there a solution?
Located the answer by issuing commands. Windows 10 was designed by developers who didn’t care about typical users. Launch PowerShell with admin privileges, run Set-WinUserLanguageList, press Enter, type Y and then Press Enter to reset to a single language input. Be aware that entering the wrong language will cause two keyboard inputs.
It still doesn't load on my work laptop, which is a shame since I mainly use it for gaming.
