Recall how everyone once joked about the FX series of processors for their high power draw. The 10900k is said to be drawing 235 watts from the socket without any overclocking, just like the turntables.

It's a solid bottleneck. Extremely helpful for reducing GPU load, roughly one scheduler per two cores. FML
