Sure, it’s doable. A 1080p60 setup with your 1070Ti and Ryzen 2600 can work well, even if some games are moving to higher resolutions. Just make sure you check the latest developer support for your titles—many still back 1080p60. If you aim for 1440p later, you’ll need a compatible GPU and possibly an adapter. It’s a solid plan for now!

Also, 1080p remains the standard and preferred resolution for gaming laptops. It seems unlikely that significant changes will occur in the desktop or laptop markets toward 1440p or 4k over the next few years.
