hello everyone, i'm facing a serious issue and I'm hoping someone can help. i built my pc a while back with two ddr5 ram sticks and more than three months of use. one ram stopped working completely even though the rgb stayed on. after replacing it, the other ram failed within a week. now i've got new rams, but i'm really worried about installing them. could you tell me if this is due to the motherboard, psu, or something else? please share your thoughts before i decide to upgrade to the z690 maximus hero.

You're asking about the meaning of "rams completely stops working." This likely refers to a vehicle or equipment that has ceased functioning entirely. We should clarify what specific system or component is affected, but based on the phrasing, it could involve the engine, transmission, electrical system, or another critical part. Let's explore possible causes and next steps to help resolve the issue.

It seems the system got damaged or corrupted, which is why it no longer reads properly. I also tested the RAM on your friend's PC, but it didn’t work.

Yes, that's accurate. Once installed, the software functions properly and is recognized by the PC. Over time, without any issues, it may stop being detected, and the reported RAM usage in tools like Task Manager or BIOS could decrease.

Yes, after checking the issue, I observed some power flowing through the case ports such as USB and HDMI. I could only sense the electricity when connecting the monitor to HDMI. Using a different cable didn’t change the situation, so it might be a short circuit or another problem.
