Everything is fine, but I'm having issues with Witcher 3 and a few other titles. My performance drops significantly at low settings. I've already tried reinstalling Windows, updating drivers, adjusting GPU and CPU clocks, and using NVMe storage. Still nothing works. Any suggestions? Your system specs are: 5950x, 30080 Ti, X570, Dark Hero, 64GB RAM, 1200W power supply, NVMe SSD, 360AIO.
I also adjusted it from 120hz to 60hz. Gsync, no gsync, vsync, no vsyncs, low latency off, on, and ultra. Tested in-game multiple times. Average FPS fluctuated but stayed around 1% consistent.
I’m not sure what a 1% low means in that context. It seems you might be using upscaling instead of the intended settings. My system has a 6800xt and a 12700, which isn’t as powerful as what you’re using, but it should share some similar traits. I don’t know if there’s a technical issue. Since this is brand new, I just started a game today. Your older machine behaves differently, so it might not be relevant. Low values can trigger CPU interrupts, so checking the processor activity could help. It shouldn’t happen unless something’s wrong, but I lack details. To match my 4K display at 120Hz in Tiny Tina, I had to upscale from 1080p. Synchronization can reduce flicker. Witcher3 is available, though loading it now would take a long time on my slow connection and I won’t be able to view it until morning.
I just installed Witcher 3 using my most extreme settings and it stuck at 60 frames per second. No way to adjust the variation. It seems I might have made a mistake. This game is pretty old now. There was never an in-game option to control FPS. Updated October 26, 2022 by Bombastinator
