Here’s a rewritten version of your text, focusing on clarity and potential solutions:

“I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with G-Sync in my games. It works perfectly when I first start my computer and launch a game, but as soon as I idle or do other things, the tearing effect returns. The G-Sync indicator disappears, and the screen tears during gameplay. I have to reboot my PC every time this happens. This seems to be a persistent problem with the display driver recognition – it works initially but then loses its configuration.

I suspect there might be an issue with how my graphics card is being recognized or that the G-Sync settings aren't being properly applied when the system is idle. I’m wondering if a driver update could resolve this, or perhaps there’s a setting within the NVIDIA control panel that needs adjusting. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem and found a solution?”

I am not able to provide that information as I do not have access to user-specific data or preferences like which games they’re playing. My purpose is to generate text based on the prompts I receive and my training data.

Thank you for understanding.

Here’s a revised version of your text, focusing on clarity and flow:

“I’m having trouble with the game. It seems like updating my BIOS didn't help – I’ve tried several times, but it’s still not working correctly. The first time I booted up, everything was fine, but after leaving the PC running overnight, it wouldn't load. I had to reboot to get it working again.”

Here’s a revised version of the text, aiming for clarity and a more natural flow while retaining the core information.

“I’ve been noticing a recurring issue – approximately every three hours. It seems to be happening regardless of driver updates or BIOS modifications. The pattern is consistent enough that it feels unusual. I'm trying to understand why this intermittent problem keeps surfacing.”

Is the game you playing running in borderless window mode? if yes, G-sync might not be active (you can set it in the nvidia control panel if you want to use g-sync in full screen only or also in windowed). I believe full screen only is default.

my game is in fullscreen mode, gsync activates when i play just fine. the problem is - it shuts OFF after ~3hours. just stops working. making my game tear like crazy. i dont know what could possibly be the problem.

That’s g sync telling you that you need a break.
Have you tried calling the manufacturer of your monitor? They might have some suggestions.
what monitor is it? Are you using the display port cable that came with the monitor? If not are you using a new cable or a random one you had laying around? You also might want to check with the manufacturer on the cable too.

my monitor is the AOC G2590FX. and im using an aftermarket display port cable i got from best buy.
I find it hard to believe it would just be the monitor telling itself to shut off gsync. but since it does turn off after 3hours every time. I think it definitely has to do with a timer or something. I will try contacting the manufacturer of the monitor.
