I'm supporting Fallout 3, featuring authentic music from the 1940s to 1950s era, perfectly crafted for the game.

I've enjoyed the soundtrack in Mirror's Edge from the start. With Catalyst, I think Solar Fields did an even stronger job than before. For a game that moves quickly, it's impressive how the music complements the setting to encourage you to pause and observe. The tracks blend nicely with the action, city scenes, exploration, and calm sections. Part of this is thanks to the adaptive soundtrack in Catalyst. The track that really catches my eye starts around two minutes in—it stands out the most. It plays in just one area and matches the overall vibe and atmosphere of the place.

I was really excited when I learned CHVRCHES played the theme song! It’s one of my favorite bands and games. Unfortunately, I can’t afford Catalyst anymore because it’s too pricey. I’m trying different options to reach 80 CAD. I did listen to the original a few times.

I was looking forward to it since the first one. I have a couple of things I feel could be improved with Catalyst, but overall I think it's excellent. Definitely worth buying it when you can. It's one of the few games I actually pre-ordered because I knew I was going to play it anyway. Ended up completing it in only two sessions because I enjoyed it so much, then spent ages exploring and collecting things. I have a video running from one side of the city to the other if you wanted to see how big the map is and the variety of locations: There was an issue with the frame rate on the last bit because ShadowPlay messed up. I might go back and re-record it later to make it better.

It seems you're reflecting on the inclusion of music in Fallout 3's Galaxy News Radio. The idea that it was designed specifically for the game is interesting to consider.
