I know. the only thing that I take out form case by force was wifi adapter. and motherboard didnt fit in case except one screw. so I used that screw and put two layer of carboard under motherboard so there is no short circuit. used some rope to secure the rest of motherboard. I did a lot of things like this and Im pretty sure that motherboard is fine there but whats going on with temp?
as i mentioned, it might be a reversed sensor. if nothing is connected to the port, it will give you the highest reading, which is not ideal. you should check what you disconnected from the mainboard in the old pc and try reconnecting it to see if that helps.
It could be the CPU cooler. I swapped it out, but I’m unsure how it affects performance. The fans are 4-pin and include a sensor.
That's a standard 4-pin PWM connector. DC signals use 3 pins, while the last one is for RPM sensing. On some systems like Dell, pin numbers might differ, so it's hard to say exactly what's connected at pin 9. The 18 pin likely powers the device, and the 14 pin probably handles SATA power. Your RPM reading might be affected by the exact wiring configuration.
The information in hwinfo looks correct. Your processor runs at 4.4 GHz turbo and 2.6 GHz base speed, as shown in the dialog. The values appear accurate. To ensure everything is optimal, consider reviewing your hwinfo summary image for a complete system overview. Examine memory performance including dual channel and clock speed, assess GPU PCIe performance, and run a performance test. Include core clock speed and effective clock speed in the graph for better analysis. This will help determine if throttling occurs or if full turbo is consistently achievable due to proper cooling.
18 refers to the motherboard power setup (I’m using two PSUs because the 24-pin connection isn’t available—one for the GPU and one for the motherboard). 14 is the SATA power connection, and 9 is the case button, though it only works with its dedicated power switch. I’m relying on its own power button now. My CPU cooler uses a 4-pin connector.
I'm unsure why the performance isn't coming through but my CPU and GPU aren't working properly.
Your memory clock is malfunctioning. At 1600 MHz (dual channel, 3200 MHz), how many drives are installed and are identical?
