It's possible you were correct. I ended up getting stuck in a loop with the memory trainer. I'm now on the PC at all the settings I wanted. Hope it works. Yes, it was a tough night during my last memtest. No updates needed. It's running at 3600cl16 with a clock speed of 1800 now. I'm planning some stress tests. I'm starting to think the storms I experienced might have caused a power cut and reset the BIOS. Honestly, the more I learn, the more I realize how little I understand.

It's interesting how things feel similar yet different from what we had before. Some chips handle warm temperatures well, others struggle. Components like memory and chipset vary, mostly in a certain range but a few are considered top-notch. Sometimes extra voltage helps, other times it doesn't. There are cases where newer models like Cas 15 might outperform older ones like 14, or vice versa. It could just be that the memory controller stopped working suddenly and needed a fresh installation. I agree with you on this. Some things are hard to explain. Another user recently reported a beep about 8 minutes after posting, then it kept happening again after a couple of hours. This is frustrating enough to drive anyone crazy. I'm not sure how to tell someone else to replace their motherboard just yet—I'm still figuring it out. If you're using the 1.11v SOC, you should be fine up to 1.2v and shouldn't generate too much heat. For memory, I use OCCT, which offers settings for AVX, AVX2, AMD AVX (for older chips), and no AVX options. It lets you pick how much RAM to install and provides real-time error alerts. It's pretty user-friendly, though the CPU tests can get quite hot. But remember, not every test means everything will work tomorrow. That's the challenge of overclocking.
