I'm experiencing issues with my 144Hz laptop IPS monitor during gameplay that doesn't reach 144fps. When I adjust the refresh rate to 60Hz, it feels more like 45Hz or 30Hz instead of the intended 60Hz. Please help, even if it's a temporary fix.

For what reason would you take this? Just set the refresh to 144Hz; it doesn’t affect the frame rate.

You do it because beyond 144Hz to 60Hz it doesn’t add any advantages—it just brings challenges.
