It seems the game will stop you if VAC detects cheating... let's just say it's time to bid farewell to TF2.
VAC also excluded me from MW2 because I didn’t use any extra program, while my brother and his friends used the MW2 FOV changer and avoided the ban—something a bit odd.
I didn't bypass any security, just logged in yesterday and this occurred.
Valve is not known for their reasonable attitude towards VAC bans, but given the number of false-positives known to trigger the system it would be stupid not to at least ask about the ban. If nothing else, it's yet another concern voiced about their policy.
