Hey everyone, tried reinstalling TF2 yesterday and faced some FPS issues on my new machine. Initially, the frame rate hovers around 280 FPS and works well, but after a few minutes it drops to 180 then falls to 100. The CPU stays at a comfortable 60°C while the GPU hovers between 65-70°C. I've adjusted the graphics settings multiple times without success. My PC specs are listed online.
No background processes running... GPU power settings are fine.
Consult MSI Afterburner, examine the charts to determine if power or clock speeds decrease during FPS issues.
Tried that No significant movement in clockspeed or power when fps drops... Could it be the cpu? surely 60degrees for a 6600K isn't a problem?
