textures not loading bad texture pop in/shadow rendering, foliage and close-up objects
I've just upgraded my entire setup and noticed texture improvements across all games. The main issues are with shadows, foliage loading times, and the more detailed elements of buildings and objects, which significantly affect immersion and overall enjoyment. This problem appears when moving forward or backward at close distances, not from a distance where it should be noticeable. I've tested multiple benchmarks, but they don't capture the real-world challenges I face. My system specs are capable of handling modern titles, yet this issue persists, possibly linked to my RAM speed. If anyone has suggestions on whether upgrading my RAM would resolve this, I'd really appreciate it. If you need any video examples, just let me know and I'll be happy to record.
Your RAM is fine, nothing to worry about there at all.
What settings are your playing on?
Is your CPU hitting 100% and holding?
Have you tried the lowest settings(keeping textures on Ultra) to see if that changes anything?
Posting a video would help tremendously. Especially showing system temps and usages.
I had this same texture issue yesterday(or today, can't remember which day) in GR Wildlands, but it went away immediately after like 15 seconds. It occurred in the very first few minutes of starting the game so I didn't think much of it.
I've had similar texture issues in the past playing GTA 5 and it was because I had my CPU clocked at its max turbo speed of 3.2 GHz. Lowered it to 3.0 GHz and it fixed it right up. Have you by chance overclocked your CPU? Or is it possibly clocked at near its max turbo speed of 4.2 GHz? What cooler do you have installed?
I’ve been playing 1080p ultra but looking at getting a 1440p monitor within the next month. I have tried low settings and this issue still remains the same. I have not performed any overclocks on the CPU so it is running stock out of the box. I’m using the standard cooler that comes with the 3600 but temps seem to be fine as it’s a new system. I also get the texture loading you have mentioned when I load into a map or come out of a loading screen but that seems more normal to me. I will provide some footage tomorrow if you let me know what aspects you would like me to include that would be decent.
Temps, fonctionnalités, fréquences du processeur, autres détails techniques, etc., seront présentés dans la vidéo. Les problèmes rencontrés seront montrés en une minute.
Also avoid using the graphics card. It looks like the VRAM might be faulty.
I made the video for you to review, but the forum limits file sizes to 20mb and my files are larger. Is there another way to share the footage? Also, I wasn’t able to add statistics to the Call of Duty recording because the app blocked it. Thanks for your assistance!
I frequently upload it to YouTube, which allows you to link the video directly from there. Be aware that it may take a few minutes to reach its native resolution when watching the video immediately after uploading. If the stats aren't visible, the video might not be useful. Still, we can identify the problem you're facing. Try shifting the statistics to another side, as this sometimes resolves the issue. You can do this in Riva Tuner by dragging it to the right corner or vice versa. I had to move it left for it to appear in GR Wildlands. It seems you can also click a corner to place it there. Also, remember to quote or mention people here, so we know you've responded. There are two methods: highlight part of our comments and select Quote, or type the @ symbol and your name until it appears, then click. When done properly, it will display correctly...
