Looking for a reliable screen reader to help with website navigation. Usually the schools I collaborate with offer this, but currently they don’t. Do any of you have a preferred option? Looking for something affordable or even free.

Several visually impaired friends rely on NVDA. It offers a free option compared to the paid JAWS. A benefit of NVDA is its ability to operate from a USB drive. Numerous students depend on it as an authorized application during exams held on school computers instead of personal laptops.
