Your system reaches high temps during stability tests, but it still passes benchmarks and seems stable. To confirm reliability, monitor temperatures closely and ensure proper cooling. Consider upgrading to a better cooler or checking airflow if needed.

I need to ensure the processor stays cooler than that temperature.

Temperatures are quite high at this frequency, haven’t you noticed? Have you verified the heatsink attachment and checked if the thermal paste has properly spread? Your 3900X didn’t reach that speed even after a full core overclock to 4.5GHz with the prism cooler set to 1.425v, suggesting an issue. Also, is the airflow through the case sufficient?

My OC stability routines for CPU follow this sequence: Cinebench R20 – run single or multiple passes, since it won’t endure the tougher ones if it gets a lucky start only Firestrike. Test with graphics Prime95 for 20 minutes; it should either crash, stay stable, or not overheat during that time.
