Recently bought both wireless routers to evaluate signal strength and bandwidth inside the home. The house is roughly 1700 square feet across two floors. We rely on wireless connectivity everywhere, including the office upstairs for PC gaming. The AX5700 performed well without any issues and maintained a stable connection. I was hoping the AX11000 would be more reliable, but it has dropped in certain rooms where the AX5700 works fine. Could this be a faulty AX11000 or is there a limitation with my modem? During both tests I kept the router settings unchanged, using the default out-of-box configuration. I’m currently using the ARRIS SURFboard Model SB6190. This isn’t my technical area, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
