I do not have a TPM module, but I have one on order. In the mean time I have a bit of an issue. I have tried all methods of modding the isntaller with registry keys, using the windows 10 installer with the windows 11 install.esd files, and a lot of other methods, none are allowing me to upgrade my Windows 11 build 21996.1 to the latest build. I have gotten it to where I can do a clean install, I was just wondering if anyone knew of another way I can upgrade my leaked copy of Windows 11 to the latest without a fresh install. Thanks!!
The released version is technically unauthorized, and we cannot assist with pirated software as per community guidelines. It’s best to perform a complete system reset of the insider release.
No, you won’t need a full reinstall each time you want an update as long as your TPM is ready.
Did you switch from Windows 10 to Windows 11 or performed a clean installation? If you moved to Windows 11, you might be able to revert the change to Windows 10 and then install the latest official insider release. I believe these insider builds can support upgrades to newer versions, though I’m not entirely certain. Simply download an official insider build and see if it lets you progress to a more recent release when it becomes available.
I upgraded from windows 10 to 11, but I don't have an option to roll it back, so I guess Ill install via the official insider build then. How do I install the official build? Will I just have to wait till the TPM module comes or can I use uup dump or something to get the latest build?
I don't believe it's possible to upgrade the leaked build to the official version even with the TPM module. You should either install Windows 10 and wait for the TPM module to be available or create an ISO using a UUP dump and perform a clean install of Windows 11. Once you obtain the TPM module, you can join the developer channel of the Insider Program.
