Hey, so back in the day I bought this pc one year ago with these parts: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 running at 3.6GHz with 35MB VRAM; GPU: ASUS ROG RTX 3070 Strix; Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk; RAM: Corsair 32GB total (two sticks of 16GB) on DDR4 running at 3000MHz and CL16; Power Supply: EVGA GQ with an 850W rating. The computer runs fine for most games, but it doesn't crash or show blue screens unless you play "Rust". In that one game, the only problem is low frame rate. I can never get more than 60 frames per second no matter how much i turn down settings or change configs. I honestly feel like i've tried everything possible (reinstalling software, lowering settings, copying a friend's config files, etc.). My monitor is 1080p so there shouldn't really be any issues and i should easily get around 150fps on max settings when playing. When i tried to find a fix though, i noticed my cpu is only at 30% usage and the gpu is sitting at just 35%. Anyone else having this same problem or can you give me some ideas?

I replaced the old chip with a new Ryzen 9 5900X and now my game runs at speeds between 140 and 160 instead of just 40 to 60.

You don't know Rust well, or its strange rules? Here is what I found. Turn off V-Sync and disable G-Sync Make sure your game runs in full screen (no edges around it). Open the F1 console and type these two commands: perf 1 fps.limit -1

Hey, can you run the Home - UserBenchmark test and share the results with me?

It's better to swap the chip for a Ryzen 9 5900X, which speeds up the game from 40-60 frames per second to 140-160.
