I have an i5 6600K, an RX 480 with 4GB RAM. At the lowest settings, my FPS drops significantly—1440p feels terrible on a 4K screen. There’s a lot of stutter and inconsistent performance overall. The CPU never spikes above 95%, so it isn’t a bottleneck. My GPU is working hard, though. It’s surprising how much better AC Origins runs compared to this setup.

It could point to a GPU issue when the game runs at maximum capacity. I assumed Origins had poor optimization, making it nearly impossible to play on your system, but maybe Ubisoft improved that?

I could set the frame rate to 40 frames per second and run at 1440p resolution. The experience was smooth and I finished everything successfully.

It's tough enough to play at 1080p with maximum quality.
