So everything began in 2019 when I got F1 2019 and there was an option to play the game in DX 12 and DX 11. I ran it on 12 and it had around 4 frames per second. I tried DX 11 and it worked just fine, same with F1 2020. I didn’t mind because I had the choice. Now F1 22 only supports DX 12 and I’m getting 4 fps, not because of GPU power issues from my brother’s machine, which has worse performance, but because my own setup works fine. I have an AMD Radeon A10 9600P processor with R5 graphics and a dedicated R7 M340 8 GB RAM. It’s strange that I noticed the games are using R5 graphics instead of R7, even though Task Manager shows R7. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I read this forum post: https://forums. But it didn’t mention whether it helped, so I’m asking again. If you need more details, reply.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
First make sure your laptop is on the latest BIOS version. Speaking of laptops, what is the make and model + SKU of the laptop? Use DDU to uninstall all of your GPU drivers, then manually reinstall said GU driver with the latest sourced from AMD's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

it has a mobile gpu, so it's best to use drivers from the manufacturer rather than AMD ones.

Mobile GPU refers to the graphics processing unit found in portable devices, indicating strong performance in hardware. For integrated GPUs, install the appropriate drivers for your specific model. For dedicated GPUs, ensure you have the correct drivers installed.

visit the laptop website support section, search for GPU and chipset drivers for your laptop type, and before installing, use DDU to uninstall your previous drivers.

Yeah, it's the HP 15-ba062nc, but these drivers are from 2016 and made by AMD around 2019. They seem pretty outdated. Plus, I only see older Windows 10 versions and notice that the GPU audio controls and similar features aren't chipset-related.

Sure, I can clarify how to use DDU while in safe mode. It's important to note that GPU drivers might be necessary for proper functionality.

Initially, you need to configure DDU for the device you wish to remove drivers from, which is the small unit located in the upper right corner.
