Previously I experimented turning my Mac (now Windows 10) into an Xbox One. Now I’m thinking about using PS4, and after reading some opinions, I understand that consoles rely heavily on hardware. However, I successfully ran Xbox One games without problems. Could we replicate this approach for a PS4?

Xbox runs on a specialized operating system designed specifically for console hardware. Similar situations exist with other modern consoles. There are no functional emulators available for newer systems. While it's possible to run Xbox titles on Windows 10, the options are limited. Without watching videos, I'm interested in understanding how macOS can be installed on another locked OS during Windows or Linux setup, especially since making Linux installation difficult is common.

It's really confusing, my computer is acting up a lot because I kept switching between OS versions. Mac, Windows, and Xbox One are all messed up.

I believe you're not relying on XBone OS, but instead using a game interface.
