My current temps for the 5950x are near 43°C. Under CPUZ stress, all cores at 86°C reach about 22-24°C. My cooler has a dark rock pro 4 with 0.5mg thermal paste in a cross pattern. It looks normal so far—just check if it stays stable and consider remounting if needed.

It's slightly higher than normal, but not to the point where I'd worry about it. It's still turbo-ing fairly high, so I wouldn't worry about it.

It's typical for a Dark Rock Pro 4 paired with a Ryzen 9, though it might feel a bit powerful. Are you applying PBO settings or adjusting the CPU power limits? The 5950X is usually capped at 142W by default, but it's showing 183.6W—could be due to overclocking or configuration changes.

Changed the bios settings to allow greater power usage for a faster clock. It seems the system automatically overclocks, which I think is PBO, according to what you mentioned.

Those temperatures are certainly within the normal range. Your mounting and thermal paste application seemed appropriate.

Thanks for your support. It's been a while since I assembled my previous build, and this board delivers more power than the ASUS CSM Prime Pro it replaced, which reached 175W. However, I ran out of thermal paste on that one, so I only had half a tube of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut left. If you ever need a fresh supply, a big tube would be great!

A fan is positioned 5mm above the RAM slot to ensure proper clearance, since this board is particular about RAM placement. Ripjaws was the only model that appealed to it, while flow appears acceptable.
