You're experiencing higher temperatures with your current setup, especially during demanding games. The 3060 Ti seems to push the CPU temps up to 82-86°C, which is quite high but still within safe limits for a gaming rig. The idle temps remain good. Whether it's dangerous depends on your cooling system and usage patterns—keep an eye on trends. If you decide to upgrade later, using it now safely is possible, but ensure your tower cooler can handle the heat.

It's not an urgent issue but it can get a little intense. However, once you upgrade soon, everything should be okay.

Your GPU performs better, so the CPU has to exert more effort to match it, leading to increased temperatures. The temperatures are slightly elevated but remain acceptable. Consider adjusting the fan curve slightly and undervolting a bit. Limiting your frame rate to match the monitor's refresh rate could also help.

Typical for the stock cooler; performance isn't top-notch. No. These CPUs can handle temperatures well over 90ºC for extended periods without problems. Each CPU line has its own "maximum safe temperature" (TJMAX), which my quick look shows is around 100ºC for the latest generation. That's accurate.

Thank you for your input. I understand your concern about staying within safe temperature limits and will prioritize getting a cooler solution soon.

I don’t interfere with clocks or voltages, but I adjusted the stock CPU cooler to operate at full capacity continuously. I’m counting on this to lower the peak temperature by about 2–3 degrees.

When operating at 1.2v or lower, you should be okay at 100°C. If it drops below 1v, 105°C might still be acceptable, though this is often seen with laptop chips. Running at such high temperatures usually doesn’t cause noticeable damage, especially on non-OC CPUs. A comfortable temperature isn’t critical if the CPU lacks overclocking capabilities.

Undervolting offers several benefits without compromising performance. It can extend the CPU's lifespan, reduce power usage, lower temperatures, and minimize noise, all while maintaining speed.

Stock coolers are outdated, opt for an affordable tower cooler instead. Ensure your case allows proper airflow. Lowering the voltage on an 11400f won’t help and may hurt performance.

It would decrease efficiency by only adjusting the voltage sent to the CPU, not other factors such as clock speeds. Reducing it to 100mV on my 10400F without exceeding the motherboard limits didn’t affect performance, even though the CPU ran cooler by 10°C at the same fan speed.
