I would purchase fresh thermal paste, as it seems to be part of the defective batch. Have you verified that the pads you used match the required thickness, or did you purchase generic thermal pads? If the pads are excessively thick, they could hinder proper contact between the heatsink and the component they protect.
These components aren't working properly. They seem to be of good quality, but they might be too thick for the setup. I need to replace the old VRM paste, but I can't remove the current one because it's no longer usable. The screwdriver is damaged too.
Seems like the system is struggling under heavy use. The CPU works fine, but performance drops when things get busy. The GPU keeps lagging. This laptop is definitely not ideal.
The biggest portion of the heat sink isn't making direct contact. This is clear from the lack of paste spread. As discussed earlier, verify the mounting. One concern is whether the thermal pads used are too thick for the memory chips, possibly supporting the heat sink instead.
