Temperatures on CPU and Motherboard during gaming sessions
Hi,
Yesterday I upgraded my CPU and GPU to an FX 8320 and a GTX 960 4GB. I'm using an Arctic Pro Rev 2 cooler, but I'm worried about the temperatures. When idle, my CPU is around 36°C and the motherboard 37-45°C. During gaming, like GTA, the motherboard reaches 76°C and the CPU peaks at 70°C. Is this safe? I also think my new CPU might be throttling, causing occasional small FPS drops. Please help me—I've spent a lot on these parts and don't want them to fail in front of me!
Dont worry thats normal, even smart phones are around 35 degrees on idle. and your using AMD, and they are hotter than intel. Aslong as it doest go over 85, your fine. And if you are still worried get water cooling, you can get nice all in one packages for like around $100
here a water cooler i suggest.
