The computer functions properly in general, but performance drops only during gaming sessions, leading you to suspect a GPU problem.
It increased from approximately 75 to reaching 85. I didn’t realize I had overlooked mentioning that the reason for applying thermal paste was because my computer began doing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUq7KB3KS1s&t=9s Some users on Reddit suggested it might be old thermal paste, so I reapplied it to the CPU.
Also suggests reapplying the GPU paste. If it's the original, it should be in a comparable state to my 480, feeling like a saltine cracker.
I fixed my GPU, installed a game, and the temperature remains around 65 degrees. Appreciate the help!
