Just checking if your CPU temps are being monitored correctly—make sure the monitoring software is properly connected and configured. Using HWInfo gives accurate readings, which is typically the best approach. A 40°C package temperature is reasonable, particularly for lighter games.

I hit 6.1Ghz across all cores while playing games like BF2042 4K Ultra by turning off the ecores and hyperthreading to lower temperatures. This was done using an AIO setup, not a cryocooler. The 13900k performs well and feels great.

It's not too bad after all. It's seen as a tougher competition, but it handles CPU tasks smoothly even on an i7 4770.
