I considered placing the original heat sink on CPU 2, but other CPU blocks might restrict airflow. Would you like some alternatives?

Isn't there meant to be a vent to aid air movement around the heatsinks? The one you see seems designed for a 1U server, which definitely benefits from maximum airflow... That’s exactly what SuperMicro consistently does. I usually prefer their server racks over others.

Could be worth considering purchasing larger models? It's a 4U server.

You're looking for larger heatsinks that include built-in fans. The top option you mentioned is a passive cooling 1U heatsink designed to keep the E5-2697 v2 running smoothly in an open environment.

I switched my decision—I purchased the Noctua NH-U9DX i4, Premium CPU Cooler for Intel Xeon LGA20xx because my motherboard is compatible.

These readings are updated values. The fan speed seems too high for the "Standard" setting. Optimal performance would require even slower speeds. No filters were applied.
