Everything seems okay with the pins. The heatsink is making good contact. Placing the Celeron inside appears to lower its temperature, though the motherboard readings remain unchanged. The small orange heatsink on the motherboard feels almost cool. That’s unexpected. It might mean the CPU is actually getting hotter than it should. Could be a faulty CPU or inaccurate temperature readings on the board.

I also checked, but it seems both readings could be off. Someone mentioned possible inaccurate temperatures, which makes sense given the heat from the stock fan. At around 40 degrees with the Celeron, I didn’t notice any extra warmth on the heatsink or board. It’s hard to trust these numbers right now. I used the hwinfo tool to check the details. The i7 is running at 42 degrees during idle and under 85 during the stress test. Everything looks normal.
