Consider upgrading to a higher-performance cooler or case. The current setup stays stable at around 59°C when idle, but spikes to 80°C during gaming sessions—sometimes briefly reaching 75°C for games like Apex or Rainbow 6 Siege. Some titles, especially those with intense graphics, can hit 80°C for short periods (up to a minute) and then drop back down. While the CPU stays low during idle, gaming pushes it into the 60-70°C range, occasionally spiking to 60-90°C for a few seconds, but never exceeding 100°C. The thermal paste and cooling solution might be worth checking. Most sources suggest temperatures between 50-70°C are ideal, with spikes above 80°C being rare and short-lived. If you're using a 12th-gen Intel Core and a 3080 chipset, it should handle the load reasonably.

It's a great airflow setup with the Lancool 215, and I haven't encountered anything like the FTW3 3080 exceeding 75°C. The CPU performance remains stable despite the 240mm AIO not being optimal for the 12700K.

You verify the environment by listening for background sounds or observing changes in temperature and air quality.
