Hey everyone, just updated to a Ryzen 5 3600 and started some overclocking. I kept the memory speed at 1.0 and pushed my RAM to its limits. Now I’m stable at around 1.325 with 4400 across all cores. During tests with Prime95 FFTs, temps hit 87-90°C. My cooler is a Coolermaster ML240L with two Arctic P12 PWM fans—no AIO included. I refreshed the thermal paste and checked for good contact between CPU and cooler. My case has solid airflow: two 120mm exhaust fans and two intake fans for the cooler (because of space). Idle temps sit between 35-40°C. I’m not sure what else can help, but I hope the cooler is working better.

Aligns well with my experiences on OCing Ryzen first gen using an H100i GTX 240mm AIO paired with push-pull setup and Corsair SP fans. Required a custom loop to manage heat. Note - if you could check your water temp, it would likely be quite high.

The case isn't allowing airflow, so check the temperature gap when removing the front panel. Alternatively, you might improve performance by turning the front into an exhaust and using the other two fan openings as intakes.

The temperatures I provided don't include the front panel. After adjusting, the radiator will draw in fresh cool air, which might help reduce the heat buildup on your Vega 64 during gaming.

I don't understand then; it seems the radiator isn't performing well. Are the fans operating below full capacity? You might adjust the fan settings to maintain a cooler CPU temperature.

Consider rearranging the AIO water block. I experience improved cooling when the tubes are positioned at the base. My setup uses an Asetek cooler, but I’d test various angles to find the optimal configuration for my system.

Initial Ryzen models ran at 1.1875vCore without optimization. Adding any vCore caused instability, pushing temperatures beyond the 240mm AIO's limits. Available cooling wasn't sufficient.
