I have a Ryzen 7 3700X with OC 4.2ghz and 1.33v, using an X570 Aorus Elite motherboard with water cooling Nzxt Kraken X62. My idle temperatures rise from 40 to 60 and then back to 40. What’s the issue?

It largely depends on how inactive your idle is. The only reason to increase the temperature is if the OS or certain software requires the CPU to boost its frequency, which naturally leads to a temperature rise. You can review your background processes and ensure your minimum processor state is set to 5% in your power plan.

Verify if the pump operates at sufficient speed, adjust to maximum and observe.

fans and pump running at full speed, and I look at the YT and ISEE stock cooler to see if they have a better temperature control
