Check if the GPU fans are rotating. The display shows 0 RPM, but this might not reflect the actual status.

Make sure to update the BIOS or reinstall drivers.

If those steps fail, consider replacing the GPU.

The ODB mode is activated, likely causing it to spin at 0 RPM. The drivers/bios have been updated. A fresh installation using DDU is recommended.

You've been using them for four years. Have you replaced them during that time? Visit a repair shop and request they change the thermal paste—it's possible it's worn out. Then, reduce the voltage on the card; refer to this guide for details.

I haven't processed it yet... swapping the thermal paste seems logical. I just attempted to apply more pressure to the card, and it reached 92 in under five seconds.

Yes, that card shouldn't be that hot; it's unlikely PSU was the cause. Ideal temperatures are 80-90°C, 97°C is near most GPUs' maximums—likely spikes to 100°C+ causing shutdown to avoid damage. Clock speed significantly impacts power usage and heat, so lowering it can reduce heat. Generally, after two years (assuming new purchase), cleaning is needed; if it's still warm, thermal paste replacement is recommended. Also, clean the entire PC.

This situation is unusual and more severe than what I own. The card still has its original thermal paste and two failing fans, which is concerning. Plus, it's placed right above another GPU running at full capacity, meaning it's not operating under optimal conditions. You should take the cooler out and reapply the thermal paste. While you're working on it, clean the area thoroughly. It seems your heatsink might not be securely attached.

I've had a GTX 645 that would get hot as much as 97 degrees before I changed the thermal paste. After cleaning it and replacing the paste, it now only reaches about 85 degrees. Every four years, dust your GPU cooler with a duster or vacuum. When you clean it, make sure the fans don’t spin too fast. If you reapply the paste, use rubbing alcohol to clean the GPU and install fresh thermal paste. Don’t apply too little paste—more is better. Grizzly or Arctic MX silver paste works well for me, but Noah Thermal Paste also performed nicely.
