Tbf, 3600X is not as cool as the 3600. If OP has some money, I think that'd be ideal.

Consider a budget second-hand prism or check with someone who doesn’t have it. Ryzen processors tend to get hot when idle on standard coolers. The Wrath Spire is just a piece of aluminum with a fan attached.

Thank you for all the responses. I've adjusted the fan curves, but the symptoms remain unchanged. This wasn't an issue during the first three months after setting up the rig. Recent updates include the latest motherboard BIOS, which seems to be the reason.

Updated the fan curve to 100%, but it didn’t fix the issue. I noticed more unusual symptoms when the temperature stays around 65°C during idle. The temperature seems to drop when I check Task Manager? ?? What’s going on? Any suggestions? https://imgur.com/a/JttQ1co

I would also use Malwarebytes and Adwbytes. Usually this involves harmful code running in the background using threads. Open Task Manager and the program disappears.
