I agree with @xg32. I tested the cooler at 2700X, 3600X, and 5600X on the same unit (Corsair H115i). Both the 2700X and 3600X were noticeably hotter when running chips compared to the 5600X, which is expected given their TDPs—105W, 95W, and 65W respectively. In reality, all stock coolers are subpar, particularly the Wraith Stealth paired with the 5600X. The Evo model should perform better. Also, ensure adequate airflow and avoid placing the PC in a room with temperatures around 40°C.
It's fine to operate at 95°C briefly. However, if your CPU stays at that high temperature continuously, I'd check for other issues such as leaving the cooling fins uncovered.
I just looked at the cooler and confirmed it’s plastic-free. I reapplied thermal paste again. From what I know, the stock cooler for the 5600X isn’t great—everyone agrees the 212 EVO will definitely help. The issue wasn't related to thermal paste; I checked and reapplied a new one, but temperatures didn't drop significantly. It seems the default voltages (up to 1.5 as per AMD) might be too high for my setup, which feels a bit excessive. I fixed it by undervolting the CPU with PBO2. The idle temps stayed around 45-50°C, and full load didn't exceed 82°C so far. Voltages remained below 1.286, which is within normal ranges—though someone more experienced might have different opinions. My CPU ran smoothly up to 4650MHZ without any problems. The CoolerMaster Hyper 212 isn't performing well anymore. It was decent around 2010–2014. I’d suggest alternatives like the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO instead. For AIO liquid cooling, a 240mm model would work fine with extra room for overclocking. I’ve tested both the Hyper 212 and its EVO versions, and I’ve also run the Hyper 212+ and Hyper 212 EVO on Ryzen processors.
