Hi, after about six months with this configuration (Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM, B450 Tommahawk, RTX 2070 Super), your CPU has been running at high loads. I haven’t checked the temperature directly, but the voltage in Ryzen Master seems to be adjusted, and after turning it off and back on, the voltage returns to normal. When playing demanding games like Warzone or Kingdom Come, the CPU temps spike to around 80°C, sometimes near 88°C. You’re using the stock cooler from the RYZEN 3600, which might not be sufficient. I’m wondering if upgrading to a better CPU cooler would help or if there’s another issue at play. Thanks for your help!

when using the stock cooler, those temperatures feel reasonable, but for lower temps you'd notice a difference by switching to another cooler. i'm running a ryan zen 7 2700 with a deepcool gammaxx GT, and my cpu idles around 20-25°c. previously, with the stock cooler, idle temps were about 5°c lower.

What specific condition are you referring to? Also, 1.45V seems quite high; I understand running the 3700x under 1.3V is fine. Check BIOS and adjust a negative voltage offset of -0.05V or 0.075V.

Hey mate, I've had the exact same temps with my ryzen 5 3600 so I wouldn't be too concerned. I think the stock cooler is really crap at cooling the r5 3600. If you can afford a better cooler, I'd recommend getting one, but if not, follow the steps I listed below. What I did was go into the BIOS, go into AMD overclocking and then Precision Boost Overdrive. I then set this to advanced and set a thermal cap of 75 degrees, now when gaming my temps occasionally spike up to 85 etc but mostly they remain at 75 degrees, and I've barely noticed any decrease in performance. However this is more of a temporary measure, I'll probably upgrade my cooler in a month or too. EDIT: 1.45 volts does seem pretty high tho, I'm not too sure why your voltage is so high? Is everything running at stock settings?

yeah those 1,45 are stock, you can find it even in google.. dont know why I think i will go for better cooler and hopefully get rid off these problems, for what cooler will you go? hydro? anyway thanks for perfect feedback

Great choice. There are affordable yet effective coolers such as the Artci Freezer 34 for gaming and the Overekill models like the Arctic A50 Dark Rock Pro 4.

when operating at stock voltage, the output should stay below 1.4V, especially under heavy loads where it should drop under 1.35V
