Temperature is too high on i7 7700k
I believe I should revert to stock mode, leaving off OC and XMP settings, and allow it to operate normally. OR
consider borrowing a stock cooler from a friend and try it out.
After examining your setup more carefully, it seems the AIO is stretching beyond what it should. There should be a noticeable dip in the tubing. I would first reset it to default settings and check the temperatures while you wait for your friend to bring over a stock cooler. I had to take out my AIO from the system and switch to an OC due to a cooler problem. Honestly, if you're playing games, the CPU OC isn't providing much benefit in the game.
I'm going to check out AIO now because I'm not sure what it refers to.
Now that you've uploaded the video, it's clear your cooler is installed wrong. The tubes go into the radiator at the highest part, but they're pulling in air instead of water (air naturally rises). You need to flip the radiator so the tubes are at the bottom, or move the radiator to the top of the case if that's possible. Add two intake fans at the front if you can.
I know what you're asking, but I can't adjust the cooler fans on top or bottom because there are no screw holes at the top. I only have access to the bottom, which is why it's not working. That's the only option I have in this situation.
So that's the only possible solution for me.
Thank you for understanding.
I don't think it would fit properly, and the power/LED cables won't reach the back of the case. But I'm just guessing—I'll try later. Thanks.
