Hello, your i7 6700K running at 4.2ghz with a noctua NHD14 cooler and an artic cooler MX4 2019 thermal paste is performing well. You can see the BIOS shows a Vcore of 1.235v. It seems the temperatures are quite high, especially the hotter cores. The thermal paste was applied two months ago, but since temperatures were higher then, it probably wasn’t an issue. You removed the cooler sticker, which should resolve any problems. Idle temps range from 38-45°C, with the hottest core at 45°C and others around 40°C. MOBO reports peak temps of 95°C in load, while other cores stay below 80°C.

Temperatures look good, I'm running at 4.6GHz @ 1.296 with no problems. Idle temps stay between 30-40°C. Corsair H105 cooler works well.

Did you notice the temperatures during the load? The top 95 hottest core readings were recorded, with most below 80.

It's a powerful tool like Cinebench that can really boost your system. I'm not too worried about it.

I turned off the PC after the Windows 10 update and heard a beep warning of CPU overheating.

It's unclear what you're asking about, but the reference to something being "core hotter" suggests a comparison of temperatures or intensity. The mention of "15 degrees" implies a notable difference from other values. Clarify your question for a more accurate response.

A few degrees or even 5 or so would be typical, but it seems insufficient/uneven in the mounting pressure.
