Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC and noticed my CPU temperature fluctuates a lot. Sometimes it drops to around 37°C but jumps up to 51°C for a brief moment. The main issue happens while playing COD Warzone, where the temperature swings wildly—from 64°C to 78°C and back again. Even though it uses about 110W, it feels unstable. I saw a test on YouTube showing an i9-11900K running at 62-67°C with 5200MHz, and it worked well when powered down to a steady 55°C with 65W. My current setup has ASUS Performance Enhancement enabled, which helps but seems to affect clock speed when I turn it off. Should I keep the boost enabled? My specs are pretty solid, but the instability is bothering me.

Random YouTube clips aren't ideal for comparisons. Temperatures will change, that's okay. The performance boost might be raising your CPU turbo settings, but keep an eye on temps—stay under 100°C during intense use, and you're safe.

As long as your CPU stays within its temperature range, it can move freely without issues. No unusual actions occur. Consistent temperatures happen when you run a heavy task that maintains full usage, such as rendering.

It functions as intended within normal ranges. The component will slow down when idle and quickly ramp up to handle demands, adjusting its performance accordingly. Your system metrics such as clocks, temperatures, and power usage will align with this pattern.
