Just to clarify, the 224 C might not be my CPU after all. If that’s true, I could install a grill inside my PC case—though that sounds unlikely. Overclocking to 4.0 GHz got me a temperature of 75°C, which is way higher than expected. If it’s actually 224, maybe something went wrong and I might have damaged the hardware. Could be a bug, so I’d better check it out.
Maybe this old motherboard can power down on its own—it's the GA 78LMT model.
The temperatures are acceptable, and adjusting fan curves could help slightly without affecting the system's performance.
