Hey there, folks who don't always see you—just a quick hello for those who do!
This area stores temporary data from programs and the operating system, which can slow down loading times as files need to be regenerated. It also contains thumbnail caches and other built-in software remnants. I wouldn’t remove it. You might find old removed programs inside, but these are usually small files and not significant for most applications.
But after cleaning %temp%, I still have 200GB left on my HDD. It seems only the operating system is installed, along with BF3, BF4, Cod Ghosts, Cod Bo2, Minecraft, and all the necessary drivers for the PC—nothing more.
Explore Space Sniffer at http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/. Even with its poorly designed interface, the application performs well. It displays space usage clearly, highlighting which files consume the most room and allowing you to track changes during movement or deletion. An example is shown: on his F:\ drive, a folder named Temp contains two video files around 350MB each. The tool is free to use.
