Someone else purchased the final season of Walking Dead hoping to experience the conclusion, but it was cut off. I think the reason was budget constraints and poor worker treatment. I wanted to finish the game to see a major company that won Game of the Year still shut down—it’s really disappointing. R.I.P Teltale, and R.I.P Caselabs, both amazing studios delivering quality art.
I liked the initial Walking Dead title and Tales from the Borderlands. However, they released around 9 to 10 titles in just four years (someone check my head if I'm off). Even for big studios like Activision or Ubisoft, it's crazy. All their games used the same engine and played exactly like the first TWD game. Why did they do this? Probably greed. It was definitely inevitable that they stopped making more.
The issue stemmed from financial constraints due to poor leadership. It seemed they couldn't pay staff for all the activities. This insight came from Pew News.
they posted on social media today suggesting they could finish episodes three and four, though they anticipate significant postponements for each
